Slim and Light Notebook was identical with one of the Apple product, that is Apple MacBook Air, but now there are other manufacturer that made a Slim and Light Notebook, that's Samsung with their notebook, Samsung X360. The Comings of Samsung X360 at least decrease the domination of Apple for Slim and Light Notebook markets.Lighter than Air
Samsung X360 absulutely as a comptetitor of Macbook Air. We can see by the dimension. The thickness of this notebook just 17,30 milimetres and with 1,2 kilograms of weight. That's a very Slim and Ligt notebook.
Processor ( Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor )
There are two product of X360 series, they are Samsung X360-AA03 and Samsung X360-AA04. Bot of them use Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor technology. The X360-AA03 use Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor SU9300 (1.20 GHz, 800 MHz, 3 MB) and the X360-AA04 use the higher processor Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor SU9400 (1.40 GHz, 800 MHz, 3 MB). There are little difference, but both of them still a powerfull processors.
Storage ( SATA HDD or SSD )
Samsung X360 use not very large of storage, maybe it's caused by the slim dimension. Actually there are basic difference between X360-AA03 and X360-AA04. The X360-AA03 use 120 GB of SATA Hardisk. The X360-AA04 use the new type of storage that more efficient, it's 128 GB SSD.
Memory ( DDR3 technology )
Both of Samsung X360 use DDR3 of memory but with little difference. The X360-AA03 use 3 GB of DDR3 (1 x 2GB + 1 x 1GB) and the X360-AA04 use larger capacity, 4 GB of DDR3 (2 x 2GB). But bot of them have same maximum capacity of DDR 3 memory, 4 GB. That's means that X360-AA03 still can be upgrade until 4 GB like the X360-AA04.
Grahpic ( Intel GMA X4500 )
Both of Samsung X360 fatured with Intel X4500 graphic controller (shared memory). That's not really awesome, in my mind that's better to use ATI or NVidia graphics controller. But it's not really matter.
Display (13.3” SuperBright LED)
Samsung X360 use 13.3” wide display that provides up to 30% more viewing area than traditional screens. Using LED technology means screens are thinner, brighter, and more durable and power efficient. You can also enjoy photo-like image quality, greater viewing angles and better text legibility, reducing eye strain and increasing productivity.
Bacteria Free
Samsung X360 used Silver Nano Technology to coat the keyboard with incredibly small, nano-sized silver ion powder, which makes it impossible for bacteria to live and breed. So, 99.9% of all bacteria are successfully eliminated within 24 ours and the notebook remains completely bacteria free, that's make more higienic the computing environvents.
More Features
Samsung X360 completely support with the latest notebook features like fingerprint reader. In addition there are basic notebook features like 1.3 magapixel webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 Port, 7 in 1 Card reader, PCI Express Card, and also HDMI output port. Samsung X360 leave the Optical Disc Drive, maybe it's caused by the slim dimension of this notebook. But it's doesn't matter bacause there are portable optical drive that not really expensive.
