Epson add a ReadyScan features, that's make scan process more more quckly and there are no long time to warming up, if you change film scan mode to document scan mode. Epson Perfection V300 cunsume low level energy and also not use mercury, bacause Epson used ReadyScan LED that environtment friendly. This scanner also equipped with built-ini transparency unit for negative film scanning.
